Where to start with this! This type of fabric is the stuff of dreams for me! My love of fabric and the outdoors coming together, yes! I swoon at the words 'plaid' and 'flannel' while drifting off into the woods dreaming of the cabin life (without wanting sound too 'lumbersexual' of course, but that's another story!) This stunning check, called 'Adventure' is from the Mammoth Flannel collection by US brand Robert Kaufman. Very little is stocked here in the UK and it's been so difficult to get hold of this. We've got a very limited supply but I'm already putting plans in place for next winter - I must have more! Sure there are lots of 'brushed cottons' and flannels around but I have to say that clothes I've made (and bought) over the years have been disappointing. This 100% cotton plushness is the real deal. It is double napped, squidgy on both sides and oozes cosiness. I cannot wait to get stitching with this!
